Six years ago, DSWHUB began with a single question: who will walk alongside the most vulnerable when the system cannot?
Despite significant economic challenges and only one major grant secured (2023), DSWHUB has grown into a resilient, community-driven organisation. Collaboration and partnerships has deepened interventions for children, women, and vulnerable populations.
The work is not finished but this report is a commitment to go further.

Anti-Trafficking & Migration
I-EMPATHY campaign reached 80M online, 135K+ social media, 7,000+ directly engaged. NAPTIP Letter of Appreciation received. 6,000+ students targeted at Iganmode School.
Community Welfare
Flood relief, inclusive eye care, elderly support, and Sarah's Story — a deaf family economically restarted within one week through hairdressing business restock.

Behind Every Metric Is a Person
Names changed where needed. These five stories capture the human heart of DSWHUB's work.
Mo's Story — Child Protection · 2023
A 13-year-old girl moved suspiciously around Oke-Ira. DSWHUB mobilised within hours. Coordinated NAPTIP/CPN operation rescued Mo; trafficker arrested. Multi-agency speed saved a life.
SS's Story — Street Child · 2023
SS, aged 8, kept sleeping on Lagos streets. After welfare assessment, placed at Habitation of Hope. One-year follow-up confirmed stable reintegration - a quiet outcome that is everything.
Sarah's Story — Community Welfare · 2024
Deaf hairdresser Sarah's shop was emptying. Within one week, partnering with WHOPE, her shop was restocked. Customers returned. A small intervention; a lasting shift in the family's trajectory.
Project Lumina — 2023 & 2024
Children on Libya flights received nothing. DSWHUB proposed a fix to NCFRMI. 104 children got welcome packs and play therapy in 2023; another 50 in 2024. A gap closed quietly.
49 Returnees from Germany — 2026
Stuttgart & Frankfurt forced-return flights met with psychosocial first aid, WiFi, registration & case management. A mother of three placed in care. A young woman in distress reunited with family.
